Christ Renews His Parish/Welcome Weekend is an amazing spiritual renewal process which calls together members of our parish in order to experience personal conversation and Christian community in the environment of our own parish. The men and women each participate in their own weekend which is open to all parishioners who are at least twenty-one years of age. It is for anyone seeking spiritual renewal, desiring to build up the Body of Christ or gain a deeper sense of purpose within the parish community.
All of our communities, including our commitment to Christ, need continued renewal if we are to be faithful.
Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) is a personal and parish spiritual renewal process. As Catholics, we are called to witness to one another the amazing things God has done for us. The CRHP process allows us to do just that—take a break from our busy lives, share our faith with others, and get to know God through his works. Since 1969, CRHP has impacted over 1,400 parishes throughout the United States. Today, CRHP is the primary program for both personal and parish spiritual renewal in over 100 Catholic dioceses and 40 states across America.
The renewal weekend is for anyone seeking spiritual renewal, desiring to build up the Body of Christ or gain a deeper sense of purpose within the Parish community. The CRHP weekends are given by a team of parishioners that have previously experienced a CRHP weekend. They work together in prayer and love to provide you with a two day, one overnight, live-in experience. The weekend is centered around reflections by team members with emphasis on small group discussion and activities. You will be free to share as much or as little as you are comfortable with. No one is required to get up and speak. Your needs will always be respected. The sharing dialogue is stimulated in a very liturgical, scriptural and prayerful atmosphere. The entire weekend is informal – casual and comfortable is the “rule”.
Sacraments are also part of the Weekend. Mass is celebrated and the Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered.
Praying for guidance is important – if you feel that Christ, through the Holy Spirit, is calling you then answer His call. Come prepared to have fun and renew your heart.

Other details:
- There is no fee for this life changing weekend.
- The weekend begins in our Parish Center at 8:00 AM Saturday and ends by 4:00 PM Sunday.
- All meals will be provided by volunteer parishioners.
- Separate weekends are held for women and men.
- Accommodations are in the Parish Center.
- Air mattresses are provided, you need to bring your own sleeping bag and pillow as well as towels and toiletries.
