You are needed. There is at least one useful and highly important mission in this world which will not be done unless you do it. There is someone upon which there would be no smile of joy unless you put it there. There is someone with a broken heart who will never have the courage to move on with their life and heal their broken heart unless you give them hope. There is some righteous cause which needs your support. God has made each of us an “essential worker” in His vineyard!
I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to take part in any of our parish’s ministries, whether it be a ministry of prayer, service, or outreach. “All are welcome” regardless of age or experience. God has given each of us some kind of special gift. Over the years I have met so many people that have made my spiritual life, as well as, my life in general, so much better. Through the giving of our time, talent, and treasure, we are afforded the opportunity to play a part in helping our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Our Pastor Emeritus, Fr. Tim O’Neill, began a ministry called The Difference Makers. The mission of this ministry is to make a difference in someone’s life. Now is our time to make a difference! In the eyes of God, if we save one soul, to Him is like we saved the souls of all humanity.
