This week I have been reflecting upon the good people of our parish who generously give of their time back to Jesus in so many ways. It amazes me when I think about the hundreds of people, from the youngest to the eldest who have said “yes” to Christ’s calling to serve His Church through the unselfish giving of their time.

Over the past year Deacon Michael and Sr. Bernadine compiled a parish ministry booklet that lists our parish ministries. As always, they have done a beautiful job. Our parish ministry booklet is available to everyone. Just stop by the church office if you would like a copy.

One of the greatest blessings we receive when we give our time back to Jesus is the friendships that we make. Friendships that are made through a mutual love for our Lord. These friendships truly last a lifetime. Take a few moments this week to thank God for the very special grace of the friendships you have made over the years at St. Patrick Church.

Each must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”  ~ 2 Corinthians 9:7.
