Quite often people tell me just how much they love being part of our St. Patrick family. They tell me many different stories about the love and support that had been extended to them in their time of need. They tell me about the times of great joy when their parish family rejoiced with them in the most sincere and loving way.
The 1979 Pittsburgh Pirates team adopted a theme song. The message of the song helped to lead them to great success that year. The song was, “We Are Family.” Being part of our beautiful St. Patrick Church family is truly a gift from God. It enhances our spiritual life in a multitude of ways. Here are just a few examples:
- A church family helps us center our life on God.
- A church family helps us connect with other believers.
- A church family helps us cultivate a Christian maturity.
- A church family will help us make a contribution to our society.
- Life is not a solo act, we need our church family.
May we continue to give our time, talent, and treasure with a joyful heart, “We Are Family!”
