THE ONE WHO BLESSES OTHERS IS ABUNDANTLY BLESSED

We are Greg and Susan Ivanisin. We have been blessed to be parishioners of St. Patrick’s Church for 28 years. We start every morning with prayer. Sometimes we say our personal prayers and often times we say the rosary. This opens our minds and hearts to God to be the best stewards that we can be for the day ahead. God uses us in different ways throughout the day. Every day brings a blessing in some way to us or to those around us, and we are ready to be a part of it.

In our day-to-day lives, we have found that people want to be accepted, appreciated, and loved; whether they are family members, friends, or strangers. A smile is often a very good way to start a day. 1 John 4:19 “We love because He first loved us”. God’s love enables us and gives us reason to love each other. We want to serve God and draw others closer to Him.

Our stewardship includes helping at our fish frys, annual festival and food pantry. We have served with a smile, a prayer, and a kind word. We are very grateful and humble to assist whether it is a big project like the festival or just taking time to talk to a friend who needs our attention.

1 Cor 15:58 “Nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless”. When we serve God, every job or act of love is always important. We trust God to lead us to what we need to do. Sometimes we will never know the result of our service or kind words; but we remember that our reward is not here . . .it is in heaven. We would like to leave you with one thought . . . Proverbs 11:25 “THE ONE WHO BLESSES OTHERS IS ABUNDANTLY BLESSED”.

God Bless you!
