Melissa Baker asks for your prayers and support

Dear St. Patrick’s Family,
Growing up in St. Patrick’s parish were my first steps to the Catholic faith. I encountered Jesus through Mass, Youth Group and volunteering in the church. Once I began college at Ohio State, I got involved with the campus ministry program and there I experienced a renewal in my faith that brought on a calling to serve the beauty and joy of Gospel to others.  Starting in June, I will be serving as a full-time as a camp counselor at Catholic Youth Summer Camp in Centerburg, Ohio. CYSC is a summer camp for middle and high school students, which offers a week of high adventure activities while fostering the aspects of a high adventure faith. The experience allows young people to encounter Jesus and to learn how to live their faith to the fullest. More than 4,000 campers are expected to attend CYSC this summer! I would like to invite you into this mission through ways of prayerful and financial support. I am asking for your generous consideration in helping me fundraise $2,500 for CYSC by May 31st. This is an invitation to respond to the lively mission of the Church and to invest in our youth, so that they can make an impactful difference in our future Church. Whether or not you are able to support financially, I ask you to pray for the campers this summer to experience the love of God and that He may nourish the faith in each of our lives.
