Hi! My name is Lisa Love and I would like to share with you what stewardship at St. Patrick Church means to me. For many years, I was content with stewardship being my weekly Mass attendance and my weekly offering. This was turned all around when I took time to really listen to and answer God’s call. This prompted me to step outside of my “comfort zone” 11 years ago to become a catechist aide and then a catechist. I began helping out at church events and recently welcomed the opportunity to become a member of Pastoral Council. By sharing my blessings, I have received so many blessings from God in return and have strengthened my faith.
I’ve come to realize we are all responsible to build and grow our Church. Church is not just the building, the priest, or the support staff. Church is the members of our parish family working together to glorify God. Stewardship ignites increased participation in Eucharist and in our faith family. It enriches prayer life and promotes spiritual growth. Our Parish will soon be celebrating its 150th anniversary because of the generous sharing of time, talents and treasure of past and current generations. Building and growing St. Patrick Church today through stewardship will carry on to future generations of our parish family so that they may continue to love and serve Jesus as we do. May Christ forever bless our church family.
“Here am I Lord; I come to do your will.”
