We are Dominic and Heather Mileto, along with our sons, Giovanni and Antonio. We would like to share with you how living a life of stewardship has had a positive effect on our family. We have been members at St. Patrick Church for over 17 years. Before having children, Dominic and I wanted to find a church that we could grow in, a place to feel welcome, and a place to create new friendships and rekindle old ones. We have found that here at St. Patrick Church. Dominic and I wanted to instill in our children a solid faith foundation. In doing so, we wanted to teach them the many ways that God loves all of us.
During our time here, we have tried to stay actively involved in various activities and ministries that are available in our parish. Dominic and I have both been involved in the Men’s and Women’s Renewals/Welcome Weekends, Celebrate, Children’s Liturgy, Eucharistic Ministry, Family Faith Days, and several other ministries. By giving of our time, talents and treasures, we can honestly say that our faith has grown stronger. Our family is also stronger. Our stewardship is not only serving God, but serving his people. As a family, it fills our hearts with great joy and love to help and assist whenever we can. We take pride in our beautiful church and our wonderful church family. By participating in different ministries, we are spreading God’s love. We have found our place at St. Patrick Church, this is our home.
Living a life of stewardship gives our family balance and purpose. We feel that we have been raising our boys with much love, compassion and understanding for not only God but His people too. Giovanni says that he enjoys attending Mass regularly and that it helps to start his week off on the right path. Antonio says, that when he is “helping or doing things at church, he feels God’s love!” By the grace of God, we are a happy family. We enjoy spending time worshiping together, sharing our joys and sorrows, counting our blessings and praying for one another and others. We are connected and strong because of our faith.
May God bless you always, The Mileto Family~ Dominic, Heather, Giovanni, Antonio
