1 Peter 4:10 “As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”
God has blessed each one of us with different abilities and talents. God is calling each of us to live our lives in ways that use our gifts and talents to their greatest potential. God has called me to make changes in my life the past few years. This started with attending the Women’s Welcome Weekend in 2016. After the weekend I had a new positive outlook on my life. Since then I have become a greeter. I love seeing everyone as they walk in for Mass. It helps me to get to know more people and see how quickly children grow up. I have also become an Extraordinary Minister of The Eucharist, which I believe to be a great privilege and responsibility. Words cannot describe the feeling I have when I distribute the Body and Blood to fellow parishioners. I know that God is calling all of us to be good stewards. Being a good steward does not always involve money, or time. It could be smiling at someone in the grocery store that is having a bad day, or sharing food with someone who might not have enough to eat. Each and everyday we should make an effort to be good stewards.
Merry Christmas.
Love,
Erika Clemente
