We are the Morgans: Donna, and Bill. My wife, Donna has been a member here, at St. Patrick’s for her entire life, having received her sacraments here from her earliest years. Thankfully, she influenced me to come here to this Parish, and what a blessing it has been to our lives.
In 2010 I decided to attend the Men’s Renewal, and it has had a profound effect on me, moving me to enroll in RCIA. In 2012 I came into full communion with the Catholic Church.
I joined the Modern Music Ministry and became an Extraordinary Minister of The Eucharist, which I consider to be a great responsibility, and a great privilege. Distributing the Body and Blood of our Lord to the faithful, has been a very humbling experience for me. It has made me want to share our faith with others, notably, my daughter, Elizabeth, known to all, as Liz, and to our granddaughter, Giovanna. Elizabeth has now attended RCIA herself, and come into full communion with the Catholic Church, and has started our granddaughter Giovanna on the path by having her baptized, and by making her First Holy Communion. Currently Giovanna in enrolled in our Parish Sunday School program, in the fourth grade.
Donna and I have worked the festivals, here at St. Pat’s, and she helps our Modern Music Ministry by calling members, and giving them information about choir rehearsals, and services at which we will be singing.
For us, stewardship is giving of one’s self: our time, talent, and treasure. We are blessed, and do as much as we are able.
