Catholic stewardship

Our names are Bill and Joelle Lucarell. We have been married for almost 7 years and over these years we have focused on continuing to build our love  through strengthening our faith. Catholic stewardship has been part of our lives as long as we can remember and is something important that we continue to share. Giving back what God gave us was important at a very young age. Before we met, we were actively involved at our childhood parishes. Bill was involved in St. Pat’s (Youngstown) youth and young adult groups and served on Parish Council for three years. He also assisted at Mass as a lector, Eucharistic minister, and sacristan. During her childhood Joelle helped at St. Pat’s (Hubbard) decorate on holidays, assisted with the spaghetti dinners, enjoyed working at the festival, and served as a Eucharistic minister. We fell in love with each other for many reasons, but the main gel that brought us together was how important our Catholic faith is in our lives and how we live out our faith in everyday life. We lived in the Cleveland area for the first 4 years of our marriage, but were home almost every weekend. In late 2014, God called us back to live in Hubbard permanently. After six months, our condo sold and together we were able to become more involved in the parish. “As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace” (1 Pt 4:10). Love is one of our God given gifts that we want to share endlessly and have the opportunity to cultivate love between others as marriage mentors. We are thankful to be part of this exciting new program and look forward to helping build the foundation of marriage for other couples embarking on this amazing journey. We hope to have the opportunity to get to know many of you that we have not met yet and share in the spirit of St. Pat’s, Hubbard. This is an amazing parish, that continues to shine with God’s light. We are thankful to be part of such a wonderful faith-filled community!
We wish you all of God’s best!
Much Love,
Bill and Joelle
