The Sacrament of First Reconciliation is typically celebrated in December for children in second grade who have been baptized and will be preparing to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion in the Spring. The parents are required to attend the Parents’ Session in early fall to re-examine their own understanding and practice of the sacrament and how to best prepare their children at home as well. We will be using the Together in Jesus; First Reconciliation Program combined with lessons and videos from Dynamic Catholic Blessed Program.

Children who have been prepared according to diocesan and parish guidelines are invited to celebrate this sacrament which is traditionally on the first Sunday of May. Below is the link for the 2020 syllabus for First Holy Communion classes.
