The St. Pat’s Sewing and Craft Guild is composed of any women in the area who want to make items such as blankets, shopping bags, etc. to give to those in need. The group meets the second Wednesday of every month at 2:00 pm in St. Patrick Church Hall. Members from any church are welcome to join.
HCIA is an ecumenical effort to meet the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of the people in Hubbard through ministries such as Hubbard Food Pantry, Ecumenical Prayer Services and the Salvation Army.
This ministry assists the needy children and senior citizens of our community during the Christmas and Easter Holidays. A tree is erected with cards indicating the child’s gender and age. Parishioners then purchase gifts accordingly. Volunteers assist with sorting, bagging, and delivery for the Hubbard community and Trumbull County Children’s Services and St. Joseph the Provider School.
On the second Saturday of the month from 8:30 – 11:00 am, St. Patrick parishioners distribute food to the needy who have called the parish center for an appointment. Many volunteers are needed to make this ministry successful.
