Calling all young students!

Do you know God has a special mission just for you? You don’t have to be an adult to make a big difference in our parish family.

Everything we have – our talents, our time, and our belongings – are beautiful gifts from God. Being a good steward simply means taking care of those gifts and sharing them with others out of love.

You can be an amazing steward every day! You share your “time” when you pray for a sick friend. You share your “talents” when you help clean up your toys or sing during Mass. You even share your “treasure” when you donate a dollar from your allowance to the church collection.

When you share, you bring Jesus’ love into our community. Thank you for being God’s helping hands!

Love, Deacon John

Following Mary’s Holy Example

In our busy lives, the Blessed Mother stands as our ultimate model of stewardship. True stewardship means receiving God’s gifts gratefully, cultivating them responsibly, and sharing them lovingly. Mary did exactly this with her entire life.

At the Annunciation, Mary received God’s call with an open heart. She did not hoard her time, talents, or future. Instead, she offered her complete “yes” to God’s plan. She nurtured Jesus with devotion, shared him with the world, and stood faithfully at the foot of the cross.

Mary teaches us to offer our whole hearts and daily routine to the Lord. When we use our time to serve our parish, care for our families, and help our neighbors, we follow her holy example.

May we imitate Mary’s generous spirit today as we build up our community of faith. “Our Lady of the Holy Eucharist, pray for us.”

Deacon John

Sharing our blessings in St. Patrick Parish

Our vibrant parish family relies on the unique gifts, talents, and energy of our parishioners. We are constantly juggling demanding work schedules, school activities and home life. Finding extra time can feel challenging. However, sharing your time in parish ministry is a powerful and fulfilling way to live out your baptismal call and deeply strengthen our parish family. We invite you to prayerfully explore where the Holy Spirit is calling you to serve.

  • Lectors: Proclaim the Living Word of God clearly and beautifully during our weekend liturgies.
  • Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion: Assist reverently with the distribution of Holy Communion to your fellow parishioners
  • Ushers & Greeters: Offer a warm welcome, assist with seating, and manage the parish collections
  • Music Ministry: Share your vocal talent in the choir or bell choir to elevate our weekly worship
  • Catechetical Ministry: Be a mentor by sharing our beautiful Catholic faith with our younger people in PSR or LIFE TEEN
  • Altar Servers: Men, women or children who assist at the altar during Mass

Please consider how you can share your blessing with our parish. Thank you for your generosity, dedication and faith.

Love,
Deacon John

Belonging begins with welcome.

Parish stewardship is more than how we support our church financially; it is how we share our lives. God calls each of us to be stewards of hospitality. Every smile, open pew, and kind word that we exchange after Mass is an investment in our faith community.

When we warmly welcome a new face or reconnect with a neighbor, we reflect Christ’s love and hospitality that transforms our parish from a building into a true spiritual home. It reminds others that they matter and belong here.

May we always remain a parish that embraces the stewardship of hospitality with a joyous spirit.

Love,
Deacon John
