COUNCILS OF THE PARISH |
|
The Councils of The Parish is the functional structure of our local Catholic Community...our Parish. The Councils are tasked to organize, coordinate, evaluate, unify and support activities within the Parish, ensuring the extension of Christ's mission. The Councils will present all members of the Parish with the opportunity to participate in the apostolic effort of bringing unity to the mission of the church through encouraging, guiding and directing parish life.
The Councils and any sub-committees exist to serve our parish community as follows: |

STEWARDSHIP
COUNCIL
|
Stewardship involves the sharing of one’s time, talent and treasure, as well as the commitment of communal resources to the fulfillment of the Church’s mission. Stewardship ministry necessitates the recognition of life as a gift, freely given by God, responded to in a spirit of humility and gratitude.
A Stewardship parish places a high priority on each person’s awareness, commitment and participation in the life and mission of the parish and on the regular sacrificial giving of its members. The Council works to foster a caring parish family seeking to involve fellow parishioners of all ages in responsible and generous sharing of their God-given gifts of time, talent and treasure in service to the community.
